I am a parent/teacher who is employed at this school. Teachers at our school do an excellent job. The children are exceptional in our district. They are above average. The teachers bring the community into the classroom through various activities. The Hawaiian Carnival at the end of the year is phenomenal. I highly reccomend this school.

My son had a great year at Second Street. The teacher we had is great. I can't say enough about the teachers and staff at this school. Everyone makes you feel welcome and if you have a problem there is always someone willing to help you. I hope my youngest soon has the chance to have Mrs. J as a teacher. Thanks for being so great.

This school brings the standard down to the lowest common denominator instead of expecting the students to come up to a higher stand. The school has quality teachers who do not have time to teach effectively because of discipline problems. Classes are 28-32 students/teacher. My childs teacher is a good teacher who spends so much time on discipline her classroom is not a conducive learning environment. I believe they are good teachers, but the school is full of chaos and lack of good supervision.

The Principal is of the highest calibur role model for the children. The teacher's overall are kind and helpful, however I feel that there is not enough importance stressed on reading and language arts. Homework is also an area that should be increased, if only to give required reading.
