I have become very unsatisfied with Canton public schools. Back in 2007 thru 2009 the school/staff and services@ CSAS were really good. Over the past 2 years a spiral down hill has taking place with good teachers leaving. Changes of unqualified principals and unprofessional staff has left this school in a horrible way. Even with parent involvement the mentality of change for the better still has not taking place. If it wasn't for my teaching and tutorials at home my children would not be ready for the next level, and they have the nerve to build a new school. Why not invest that money in the schools you already have that are failing and falling apart before purchasing a new school????? That makes no sense @all. More and more parents have pulled their kids out of the canton school system and are sacrificing moves and private school for their children to receive a better education. SIGNED ANGRY PARENT

I am the parent of one child that attends the Canton School of Arts and Sciences. My mind is already made up that my son will NOT attend this school next school term.

I have two children attending CSAS this year. We are from another state and I find the curriculum to be far behind my expectations . Everything seems to be very basic and non challenging. Words like let,,get,, be,,any,, come on now ..this is pre school work and I have seen it in the 3rd grade homework. Pretty pathetic ..they will not return next year. Thankfully I can keep them ahead in their studies so they wont fall behind a 5star school like we came from.
