My Child originally started at Walnut school, but after a bad experience due to her having ADHD. She transfered to Chalybeate. The teachers at Chalybeate are much more understanding of her issues. It's a great school.

This school is amazing! The teachers are very dedicated to the students and always have been since i've gone. The sports are great and each child attend extra activities in the school year along with parents. The academics are amazing, and the school is very complimentary. I would highly recommend your child to visit or come to this school.

I have been associated with parents, teachers, alumni of Chalybeate all of whom were outstanding. Chalybeate is the best place for k-8 education in Mississppi. The teachers and Administration teach not only academics but also character, patriotism and values by example and dedication to hard work. Teachers are highly qualified and committed to students. Extracurricular activities include the #1 cheer squad in North Mississippi (2003). Parents consistently raise thousands of dollars each October for support. If everywhere was like Chalybeate there would be little reason for education reform. Chalybeate has been the place for education since 1889.

One of the finest schools in Mississippi. Classroom education is first rate. Community support is 9.5 on a 10 point scale. Teachers are committed and caring. Administration is well beyond the average.
