This is the best school you will ever see! You need to go here!!!!!!!! It is tiny but you will have fun the sixth grade has 7 students this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a superb school- a genuine oasis in the horrendous delta! Racism was not tolerated, even though it may have existed within some students and families (if there were issues, students were asked to leave). We had five children in this school and it is superbly run with the strength of a wealthy Episcopal Church who prided itself in its mission to provide academic excellence for all. Few students were actually Episcopalians (it is the smallest church minority in the area)- most were Baptists, some were Methodists, some were Jews and some were black, Asian, Mid Eastern- respect was taught to all students. Mrs. Susan Berryhill was a tireless principal who never stopped working for students!
St. George's Episcopal Day School reflects the diverse population of the Delta in the best sense The academics are challenging, the student body accepting, the faculty top-notch!
