This school has gotten a lot better with Mr. Sam Allison being our new principal. He has brought Honors English classes to our 7th and 8th graders. It is improving but I would not rate it being above average. It has plenty of room to improve. Especially in the standardized tests area. If I were more prepared, I believe that all the students' grades on the MCT would go up.
i love most of the kids at new hope but, its not all the parents/teachers make it out to be. its is just as good as any school.
