Weddington Elementary School is place where you get the best that education has to offer. The teachers are all caring ones. They have the ability to bring out the best in all students. I know because I was a student at Weddington my entire elementary career. They not only focus on the 8-5 part of the day, they take the initiative to make sure that children are learning at home as well. They understand the quality of a parent/teacher/student relationship and they use that understanding to get the parents involved in the child's learning process. This school has more than earned its level 5 status!

My experience with Weddington Elementary School has been a pleasant one. The teachers that I have dealt with and are still dealing with are knowledgeable in their field of education and work extremely hard to make sure that my kids get the learning that they deserve. I feel that the kids at Weddington are well cared for and protected by all of the staff members. The principal, Mrs. Hattie Young is just amazing and outstanding. She works tirelessly with her teachers to keep them on the right track. She is always available to meet and talk with a parent who needs her assistance. Weddington is a great school!!! The school is ranked Number 1 in my book.
