Ms. Lorita Harris is a great principal she stress her mentality to all the students. When she says academics, attendace, and seventh grade math first that is what shew truy means. She is a woman of her words. She is great for GMS. Thanks for doing a great job Ms. Harris

The focus at Greenwood Middle school is academics, attendence, and seventh grade math. This is emphasized daily. The principal and teachers go above and beyond. For the most part, they are fair and truly put academics first. I love the schoolnotes.com page. I can find out what is going on in my child class at all times. This school even offers Saturday school. The communication between parents and the school is great. The entire GMS faculty and staff exemplifies professionlism. I give this middle school 5 stars. Yes, they are the primier school in Leflore County, the Delta, and the State of Mississippi. You best believe my child will attend. It is all about the administration/leadership, and the principal Ms. Lorita Harris is doing a great job. Keep up the good work. Job well done GMS.
