Gulfport Central Middle School is awesome. Some of the teachers take the time to think about us, the students, before they make decissions. The administrators, teachers, and staff strive to make the school more exciting. The atheletic department is awesome and the clubs at Central are outstanding. In my opinion, Central is very COPACETIC. As Dr.Battle says every morning,"Average is officially OVER!!"

My school, Gulfport Central Middle, has an incedible band. Our band has great potential to become one of the best band in our school district. GCMS band shows us how to commuicate with one another, not just by talking but through music. It teaches leadership. - One band, One sound....

This school is located outside the Sea Bee base and frequently has military personnel from the base volunteering in the school, which is a welcome sight. It is always nice to see our men in uniform giving back to the community and setting an example for the local students. The faculty and administration here work very closely with the parents to ensure that the students are provided with a first-class, quality, 21st century education that will stand them in good stead no matter what choice they make for their educational career; and those discussions are taking place in their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classrooms. This is definitely an education for tomorrow!
