I attended Simmons High and it was o.k. But, it could have been better. Simmons needs more teachers who are patient and considerate and people who can bring new opportunities and advatages to the school. I have relocated to Texas and I see all the advantages here that are not back home in Mississippi. I feel that students in Hollandale are left behind.

Simmons High School is a wonderful place for who want a good education adn express their athletic abilities. Simmons Hgh is #1 in every sport, from the band to the Cheerleaders. The parents are very supportive of their children's school especially when it soem to sports. I am a 2006 graduate of Simmons High School and I am proud to say that i attended Simmons High School Home of the Blue Devils. So whenever you're in Hollandale, MS stop bye and watch how the Blue Devils football, basketball, track team, band, cheerleader, baseball, and softball team get down. As the Blue Devils Band Says Small But Mighty!

Simmons High School is a great school. It is led by Mr. Roger Liddell of Greenville, Mississippi. The school is #1 in every sport you could name. Let's not forget the band is just outstanding. The only problem is with the principal. Simmons has a great principal. But, he needs to learn to support more than just two sports. He must learn that football, basketball, baseball, band, track, and others should be treated equally. The school has great teachers and most of the parents are always conerned about their child's education.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Mississippi used the Subject Assessment Testing Program (SATP) to test students in English II, writing, algebra I, biology I and U.S. history at the completion of each course. Students must pass all parts of the SATP in order to graduate from high school. The SATP is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Mississippi. The goal is for all students to pass the test.
