1 star, If there was anything below it, that's what I would choose. On several occasions I have attempted to work with the faculty and staff on simple issues as bullies, to no avail. Close minded are many of the staff, counselors are over worked and burnt out. Counselors look down at the concerned parents like they may have a 'God' complex because a degree tells them they can. Houlka's only concern is that the State will have them absorbed into neighboring schools. It's all about the $$$ for Houlka not the kids that are trying. Farm life, furniture factories and meth labs are the central and primary income for this town.

This school has an exemplary drop-out prevention program, great music and drama classes, and a terrific sports program. The teachers are top-notch and dedicated; children are loved and nurtured as if in a family.

I think This School Is Great. Even Though We've Had a series Of Saddening Events last Year, This School Is The Best I've Ever been To. It has a better ratio of computers to students than any other school in Mississippi. that's a fact!
