As an educator of this educational institution, I have been enormously flabbergasted at the commitment and efforts of the teachers and staff to connect parental involvement to student achievement through teamwork. Although it is unquestionably still a work in progress, the principal and lead teachers are emphatically steering us in the right direction. L.E.S. promotes excellence and exemplary character in students, thus yielding talented, successful, devoted, and beneficial citizens of the community. The school, itself, demands an atmosphere without chaos and encourages staff, parents, and students to work together, harmoniously. In brief, this school possesses a rare, yet genuine warmth and sense of security to all who work there or attend the school.

Lexington Elementary School is one of the most highly recommended schools in this County. The Principal and Staff are wonderful people to work with and one of their main objective is Parental Involvement. The Home-School Liaison keeps both parents and community involved by telephone contact, newsletters and monthly Parenting Workshops. When I moved here from the North about 2 years ago I had never seen such a sort. I was delighted to see other Parents involved as well as excited to be apart of this school.

The teachers and principal of this school is concern about the whole child. They not only want to see your child progress academically but also socially, and physically. They offer extra curruculum actitives for all students grades k-5. When a problem arises the principal step right in to handle it. You can always talk to a teacher or principal about anything concerning your child or the educational programs at the school. The school believes in parental invovlement.
