I was told in 2010 that the school was great so I put my daughter there for kindergarden. It was really bad and only got worse for her 1st grade year. If it wasnt for her teacher, I would have taken her out of the school. But next year She Will not be going. They have a great park, and music teacher. The people in the caf are great too. But it is bad when there are only four good teachers in the whole school. We are moving to a way better district so she Does have the best. Not what a school covers up. And the student to teacher is also really bad.

Eva Gordon is a wonderful school in the South Pike District. I am pleased with the progress of my grandchildren's education. The principal, teachers and other staff are very courteous and the student have a great respect for them.

Eva Gordan has made so many large steps toward success that I have to admit that I am proud to send my to this school. My 13 year old daughter is still a straight A student at in the 8th grade at South Pike Junior High and both of my boys, who are in the 1st and 3rd grades at Eva Gordan, are still thriving and growing stronger in the field of education. Thank to Eva Gordan. I would like to take the time to also say that the teachers at this school are a joy to be around and are wonderful teachers. I would like to thank each one, especially, Ms. Addie. While my son was in a body cast she took the time to to take care of him and she gave him the special attention that he needed during that time. Keep up the great work Eva Gordan!!!!!!

Eva Gordon ELementary has come so far. I am so proud to see the progress being made in rising test scores, the renovations of the school, teacher accountability, adding PE to the curriculum. Parent participation is low, but the teachers take up the slack. EGE is a Reading First School with lots of bragging rights.

Some of the staff, including the principal, do not seem genuinely concerned about many of the students. It is a work in progress. I pray that things get better next year with the new changes. Right now, it isn't top notch and I was disappointed with my child's 2nd yr there.

Eva Gorden Elementary is a very poor quality school. The school itself is not kept very clean and they do not teach good hygeine habits to the children. There are a few very good teachers. But they do not offer very much for the students. There isn't any type of accelorated programs, they are treated like they all learn on the same level. So far I have seen no sort of extra curricular activites. As a whole I feel it is a very poor school.
