What an embarrassment this school has become to our community. We used to have teachers and students with decent values but it has become a place of nothing more than a bunch of gossiping people (teachers and staff included) who profess to be christians one minute and the next are tearing someone apart. What a shame!

Great school with a hard working faculty. The students are well behaved and have a sincere concern for each other. The best place on the MS Gulf Coast to send your child to school.

The faculty and students interact relatively well, and many of the teachers show true, personal care for the well-being of the individual students and the student body as a whole.

Excellent teachers and the leadership is great.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Mississippi used the Subject Assessment Testing Program (SATP) to test students in English II, writing, algebra I, biology I and U.S. history at the completion of each course. Students must pass all parts of the SATP in order to graduate from high school. The SATP is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Mississippi. The goal is for all students to pass the test.
