Cathedral offers a high quality, well rounded education that includes helping to teach our children moral values as well as academic and athletic achievement. The staff, everyone from principal to janitors, cares about the students and their well-being.
I am a graduate of Cathedral High School. Before transferring to CHS in 10th grade, I attended another local high school. My only regret is that the transfer wasn't sooner! I appreciated the challenge from the course work and great teachers. The Christian atmosphere was a must for me and Cathedral will always remain the top school in Natchez in my opinion.
Cathedral is a wonderful school. My child has attended Cathedral since pre-school and we could not be happier! From academics to athletics you can not find a better school. The family atmosphere of Cathedral is outstanding! Parents are encouaraged to participate in all activities. The wonderful Christian atmosphere is truly a blessing in this day and time.
Best school for my children by far. Best thing about Cathedral, is that the children come first no matter what. Your child may not be the smartest, or most athletic, but at Cathedral they will receive the treatment that all children deserve. The opportunity to achieve is there for all levels of students reguardless of any stereotype that society may impose on them. I hope that all children have the chance to some day be included in an organization, or school, that is as fullfilling as CHS. Parents are not only able to participate at CHS, but are begged to participate in all aspects of the Cathedral family. Best choice I ever made! !
From the administration, to teachers, assistants, secretaries, and all support personnel cafeteria to custodial - Cathedral offers a wholesome Christian, family, and rich preparational educational atmosphere where our children have each eagerly learned to read in kindergarten by Christmastime. We are given constant weekly feedback on our children's progress and the amount and content of homework is appropriate for each grade level. All teachers and staff are involved in the full daily routine from drop off to pick up, even directing traffic while constantly encouraging parents and children on a respectful, refreshing first name basis. It is nice to observe the manners, interaction and intellegence of the children. It is obvious their parents want the best as we do, therefore learning is able to take place without daily classroom conflicts and politically correct restraints on the atmosphere we so desire. They will excel in life from knowledge and friendships aquired here.
Great school. Five generations of my family have graduated from Cathedral. Excellent academics and athletics.
Excellent school. CHS promotes high academic, social, and athletic standards. CHS encourages involvement in community service work and related. The high school course work and standards are exceptional in math, science, and English.
