My child has had a really good education here and through the other schools at Poplarville as well. Education and learning are pushed and reinforced in our home. One thing that I really am discouraged about is that few kids are either motivated themselves or have parents that push them to achieve. Too large a percentage of the community is either satisfied with the way they are or looking for everything to be done for them.
This school is very much a teacher vs. student school. The grown ups pick on the kids. Not much emphasis is placed on education. Favoritism seems to be the theme.
The office personnel and teachers take the time to get to know the student and the family. You are treated like a friend, not just another parent! Great people work there!
