Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

A school for your daughter but make sure she's a member of Immanuel church or kids will tell her she's not welcome there. Church member's kids rule and they can do no wrong, classrooms are chaos as teachers apparently can't discipline church member's kids. Lots of women teachers from administrator to secretary so your church member daughter will be safe from men. Boys on the other hand need to be cautious of the female environment they're in the women are in charge and have little tolerance for male behavior. advise against your boy going here as other pvt schools in the area have male leadership such as heritage and can be more attuned to "male behavior." The boys football team had to wear pink to prove they were descent empathetic humans in support of women's breast cancer research and any refusal behavior was promptly dealt with and yep the boys ended up wearing pink. No word on the girls basketball team having to wear blue to show they're empathetic toward male testicular cancer. All in all not the first choice on my list, w and can't wait for it all to be over. Too much estrogen within the school and too much drama.

I have had a child graduate from high school here and now one in K4. CCA offers an excellent education with educators that are committed to the whole development of their students. They have always been a great extension of our family. My oldest daughter was definitely prepared for the academics of College, and I feel certain that my youngest is in the best place to receive an education to take her to anywhere. All of this in a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment

I have daughters in the elementary program. We are military and the school staff and the children were very welcoming to my girls. They made them feel right at home. The education they are receiving is also great. Focuses a lot on the fundamentals which was very different from other schools that we have been in. My youngest has gone from not liking to read and struggling a lot to enjoying books and can read much better in just a few months. Parents are very involved and that makes for a great family atmosphere. It is wonderful to know that they are also looking out for the children and their spiritual growth! I highly recommend this school!

A great place for your child to grow spiritually as well as academically. I know each of the children in my child's class as well as their family. I have always felt like the staff and teachers have my child's best interest in mind every day. I have seen teachers as involved in their students extracurricular activities as thy are in their school time whether it is for ball games outside of school or in a child's church on a Sunday morning for a baptism.

I love Immanuel! My son attends 2nd grade and I'm also a teacher at this school. I love the family atmosphere and great cooperation among all functioning parts of the school, including administration , parents, teachers, coaches and our board members. Most importantly I love being in a place where I can openly talk to students about God and my child can learn in a Christ-centered environment.

Overall, a great school! The staff are attentive and the environment is small enough that everybody knows everybody. The classrooms are small enough to ensure learning. The curriculum is challenging. They pray and say the pledge of allegiance. The atmosphere is always pleasant, never chaotic, fun, inviting and structured. The only negative, in my opinion, is the cost. In this day and age though, you have to keep your priorities in check. It's well worth it for the God-centered well rounded education my kids are getting.

My son attends Immanuel and I feel that he is not only getting an excellent education, but that he is also being encouraged and lifted up by all of the teachers and administration, to be the best that he can be. I am so impressed by the Headmaster Mr. Williford as he knows every student by name and after meeting im just one time he knew my name fom then on. There is a wonderful comradery of the sudents without the cliques and bullying.

As soon as you walk into Immanuel, you feel welcome. The administration, office staff, and teachers always have a smile on their faces. It is such a warm and friendly atmosphere. As far as the curriculum, it is top notch. The children not only grow academically, but spiritually as well. Our children love going to school every day. That says a lot. EXCELLENT school.

Immanuel's kindergarten teachers are the best in the area. The entire kindergarten curriculum (academics, bible, PE, special events & celebrations) is outstanding. The children learn to excel as scholars, athletes, and Christians and they have a blast doing it. It is a beautiful, loving little school.

I attended Immanuel from K-4 through 12th grade. Through caring and dedicated teachers and the school's more advanced curriculum, I was well-equipped for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, as well as the challenges of college life itself. If I still lived in Columbus and had children, I would definitely send them there, no question.

I could not be more pleased with this school. It gets an A+ on every aspect. It is very conducive to learning. the teachers are well educated and do a great job with the students. It has a feeling of parents teachers, and children who all care about the future of education as well as the present. It has the accreditations that count. We love it!!!

Our daughter attended kindergarten at Immanuel. We cannot not say enough positive things about the experience. The K-5 teachers were very motivated and truly cared for the children. The principal and staff had great interaction with the kids. Our daughter received and excellent academic education that was based on solid Christian values.

I have three boys in grades K-5 through fourth grade. I am overjoyed with the education that my children are getting. I am a Christian and want my children to be in a Christian environment where people are not afraid to share their faith. The academic programs are very good. My children are consistently ahead of their counterparts in public school. The sports programs are on the rise. The academic offerings after high school for Immanuel students is very impressive. Immanuel has a very high level of parental involvement. These is no feeling of 'have's' and 'have nots' at Immanuel! I truly believe that everyone is treated fairly.

I attended Immanuel from the nursery program they had until my 7th grade year. I didn't realize how much the teachers tried to help you until i moved schools and found out that Mrs. White is the best math teacher ever! She helps you with anything you want her to. Overall, Immanuel is an awesome school and I would recommend it. I would've stayed, but my school offers more extracurricualr activities and is more accessible for my family and I.

I was overall very dissatisfied with the teaching staff, and the way that people treated my child and our entire family. It was like the haves and the have nots. I was so thankful when we left that town and school.

I went to Immanuel last year and I didn't realize how good of an education I was getting until we relocated to a different state and I had to go to a new school. The teachers try really hard to make sure that all of the students understand the lesson before moving on. They practice good, Christian values in the classroom to instill morals in the students. I really liked Immanuel and I miss it a lot. The 6th grade teacher is highly recommended! The students can easily make friends with anyone there. Every person I have met there is great!

We have 3 chilren in the elementary program at Immanuel. Overall, we are very pleased at the way the students are challenged to achieve. There is music, computer, PE, and library. Art is done by the individual teacher. I have only 2 complaints. One, I do not like the Abeka math curriculum that the first through third grade is on. Two, I would like to see them teach a writing workshop. The last two writing assignments my children had to complete, I had to teach. Besides these things, the enviroments there is wonderful and caring. The teachers do truly care about these children!

My daughter is in the K5 program. She was reading before Christmas. I could not be more pleased with the program. Her teacher is wonderful. She loves going to school every day. I would not have her go anywhere else.

I am not happy at Immanuel. I fell that I'm not getting the skills I need to know to prepare for Junior High. I was a strait 'A' student at my other school; now I barely making a 'B'. I don't know why any child would be happy there.
