My daughter has attended Tylertown for the past four years and the teachers have been great for the most part. This year we have had problems with a few of the teachers. The district is poor overall and the schools are old and in need of improvement. The lower elementary is mostly new and the teachers there were very good. The upper is falling apart and the teachers have not been so good. The choices of teachers is limited and the children are segregated mostly by color. I do not like that very much. Overall, Tylertown is in need of improvement, but is an average school in comparison to other schools in the area.
