Great school, both my children were prepared for the real world when they graduated. One was college bound and the other is vocational. Winona does a great job in preparing for the future.

my children have been to other schools besides this one and you need to know more than how to take a standardized test and wear a uniform in the real world. this school might get 'big' numbers on tests, but it's a shame their students don't learn or comprehend anything other than a hem length being too short or a low score on a practice test. the administration seems more concerned about getting grants than educating children.

I am a junior at this school, and I participate in a lot of organizations here. I actually live outside of this district, but I come here because this is simply a great school. There are always a few teachers who may not be the best at their jobs, but most of the teachers here know their subjects very well and are willing to do whatever is necessary to help their students learn. We have a great athletic program with a variety of sports. There are many clubs and organizations for students with different interests. We have had many graduating seniors who have gone on to find success in college and in careers. Overall, Winona is a good school.

I am a student at Winona. It is a great school! We are now a Level 5 school in 2005 which is GREAT!!! This is one of the best schools in teh world! I am a junior here and getting prepared for college is my main goal, but going to Winona makes a lot easlier the teachers care about you and help you as much as they can. We just started school and let me tell you we waste no time! I have already had like 3 test! We r a very proud school and community. The sports r great! And of course the Winona 'Pride' Band is on the the best and largest band in Mississippi! I love this school and if you ever had to move, move to Winona! Trust me, you wounldn't regret it.We even had pro football players from this school! Go Winona!!

I am a student at this school and if you are lookin for a good school for your kids this is the place. The staff if great the principals are cool but strict and the atheletics are great. Even though im just halfway through my school days i think it is a great institution to get students ready for college.

'I am a student at this school. The academics at this school are incredible. You really get a wonderful and fulfilling education. The principal is an all around great guy. Even though he is strict, his performance here is incredible. The athletics here are also very astonishing. Even though we are a small town, our pride shows other wise. We have more school spirit than any other school you may visit. Our football team ranked very high in the state. This past year was the best we have had yet, and we are only getting better. This year alone we had an eye-opening season of 10 won and 2 lost! If you are looking for a place that is guarenteed to get you college ready, and a place that is just flat-out fabulous is sports, Winona Secondary School is the place to be' -Hannah

I was a student at this school at one time, but now I home-school. I was forced to leave because I became ill most of the school year. I had doctor's excuses for every time that I was absent. You would not believe what is happening in that school. . Your last name determines if you get away with stuff or not. It is just crazy. Don't send your child to this school they won't learn a thing. I didn't... I don't even know how to do percentages. I was very unhappy there most of the teachers doesn't even care about their students. I hope that my review helped.
