South Nodaway Jr-Sr High School, academically, is a very poor choice. Options for classes are severely limited, and teachers tend to be hired for sport-related reasons. However, students are very happy and tend to find a place to fit in. This is mostly because the class sizes are so small.
South Nodaway, like other schools, has it's ups and downs.I will say that my children have received a good education from SN, but in many cases it has been rough going, much due to favoritism and labeling on the part of the school. I wish that our Principal would lead by his actions.
