After a year, I can say that I am well pleased with St Joseph. My child has learned more in her first year than I did in my first three in advanced classes. I have come to know not only the children in her class, but many of the others. As a whole, they are respectful and polite. Something I have never seen in a public school. It is a small school and has challenges because it. Extra-circular activities are few, but the school works with community resources to help parents find sport leagues and activities. The parent organization raises money so the school can attend concerts or pay for performances at the school. More importantly, talk about sex, drugs, and cursing that I learned in public elementary school, is not there. Love and respect is though.

St. Joseph School is a great place to send your kid's. It is like an extension of your family. The academic programs are top rate, small classrooms allow for individual attention each student needs. My children can say the 'G' word and learn that when times get tough pray. They learn to kind to each other by example each and every day. My son is a big child and he Has never been picked on because his weight or height. The teachers and parents share a close relationship. It is a comfortable feeling to see your child run up and hug his teacher even whe you are not at school.

St.Josephs is a wonderful, loving and safe school. When choosing a school for my child to attend I toured several other and none of them compared to St.Josephs. I am the mother of two beautiful children a 4 year old and a 5 month old.My daughter attends preschool at St,Josephs and she loves it. You can feel the love when walking through the doors. My daughter has learned so much more than just her ABC's she has also learned to respect others and herself. I would recommend St.Josephs to any parent who wanted a safe and loving school for there child to attend. It is a wonderful thing when you drop your child off at school and feel at peace knowing there are wonderful teachers who love and watch over them. Please consider this wonderful school it really is worth the money.Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

St. Joe's was a big disappointment for me and my family. I thought it would be great to send my girls to a small close-knit Catholic school and I was wrong. My oldest daughter was picked on by her peers; my youngest daughter's kindergarten teacher would not communicate with me on several occasions and she did fine when another teacher tested her. We were there for four years and it seemed to get worse every year. I finally took them out and started homeschooling them and they are doing just fine. They are eager to learn; are bright and happy children again. St. Joseph's was not the best place for the girls or me; I tried to fit in as well and volunteer for as much as I could and now we don't even feel comfortable at St. Joseph Church either.

Thank God for such a great learning atmosphere. My children left the public school system which was brutal and are happy and doing much better academically as well as learning the word of God. Their attitudes are better toward others out in the world as well as at home. We have a wonderful group of teachers that are certified ( except for 1, working toward certification), that have displayed professionalism in and out of school. No words can describe how wonderful the administrative staff is. They take care of our children as if the they were their own. They are fair and do not judge. My children feel loved and wanted everyday. My oldest son doesn't want summer to come because he loves school. What does that say about the atmosphere there? Parent involvement is great. Title 1, P.E., Art, Music and Religion round out the educational programs nicely. THANKS AGAIN.

I would not send my children to St. Joseph School merely because of the Unchristianlike atmosphere. The academic programs are second rate. There are no sports programs; music and art programs are weak at best; and there are no worthy extracurricular activities. Level of parent involvement - some parents are too involved. They think they run the school.
