This school has great students, but could use some financial help due to the recession.
Three of our children are currently attending Dillard Mallory. The teachers and administrators are fabulous. Being a smaller school everyone really stays on top of things like student behavior and progress. The school uses Corporal punishment, which was something we did not know still exsisted in the public school system, but they are very reserved when implimenting it. The Parent teacher communication is great as well. There are outside school activities in the community like Soccer, Girl Scouts, Cheer Camp etc.
My son is in 4th grade. Each student in his class has a computer. He has special class each day for music, art, sports. Parents are welcome but must notify teachers first not to interupt class. School is really good. My kindergartner is already reading.
