This school year (2009-2010) has been terrific - POSITIVE changes in administration and school board have finally put the focus back on the kids in the district! There are some old school folks that can't comprehend learning in a fun enviornment and the kids WANT to go to school - this has proven to produce great results. Academically the school is very sound, offers the ability to for upperclassmen to obtain college credit - which doesn't happen in a much larger school nearby and I believe there will be additional positive changes for the athletic focus. KUDOS TO THE NEW ADMINISTRATION AND SCHOOL BOARD - KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!!!
Has a great academic reputation along with a decent athletic one. The class sizes are small enough that teachers can work one on one with students that may be struggling. It is an extremely small school so everyone who wants to play sports can and they are competitive in their conference every year. Overall they have the same problems every and other small town school has, other parents tend to be a little controlling. As a new family in the area I am pleased.
The teachers are very dedicated but the administration does not enforce discipline consistantly and also does not enforce the academic code in regards to athletes.
