Notre Dame Regional High School 2

Notre Dame is a great school for kids with rich parents. The school constantly tries to squeeze more money from parents with never ending fundraisers. Of course, there is never enough money! If your parents are rich (for example, if your last name is Drury) you get the best treatment. If not, you will get the crumbs and you'd better not make any waves.

Even though the student GPAs are high, most choose to stay at home and attend SEMO instead of attending a challenging college. Not exactly reaching for the stars!

The homework is just "busy" work designed to keep the grades up and to keep the kids from developing any interests outside Notre Dame.

This school hands out "A" grades like candy. Over half the graduating class has an average above 4.0 year after year. The kids then fall on their faces when they leave the cocoon and get to college, where grades aren't quite so easy to come by.

Students learn that there are two sets of rules - one for the rich and powerful and one for everyone else.

The school claims to instill religious values, but when push comes to shove the almighty dollar rules.

Most teachers are great, but a few bad apples ruin the experience. Some teachers seem to relish the opportunity to be difficult tyrants in their little kingdom.

I have had 4 children/young adults gradute from Notre Dame Regional High School. Two have conmpleted college and are on their way to successful careers and the other two are in college. Notre Dame prepared them weel for college. The values that were reaffirmed throughout their educational experience an ND has provided them with some inner guidance, shaping them to be responsible adults. They played sports and learned how to deal with frustration as well as success. 3 of the 4 were able to win partial scholarships tot he colleges they chose to attend. There are good schools in the Cpe/Jackson Area. We chose Notre Dame and it has made all the diference.

My son will be graduating from Notre Dame in a few days. I cannot express what a great school this is. My son has made so many friends here. Although I love Notre Dame for many reasons, one of my most important reasons is Brother David. He is the most wonderful principle that any school could have. If you are having any doubts about sending your child to this school, please reconsider. You will not regret it. This is more like a family than a school. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I plan on sending my other 3 children to Notre Dame as well.
