I am a proud parent of three Chaffee students at the elementary. I have always been pleased with this school system and how they teach and discipline the students. My children are always ready to go to school which makes me feel good knowing they like their school and teachers.

We have a new principal and will have a new superintendant will be in place this summer. Between budgetary concerns and No Child Left Behind the school has placed academics low on the priority list. I believe we will start to seem some changes. While the school is not insulated from problems, this is a small rural high school that is safe and the disciplinary problems are not serious.

I went to this grade school and now my daughter is going to this school. Its not a bad school, and it is very small a big plus. But it has changed alot since I was a kid. The children these days seem to have no respect for the teachers, and some of the teachers seem to have no control over the kids. I know that state test scores dont mean alot to some, but they do to me. The test scores are below state average. I think that most of the teachers are newer and fresh out of school. They need to hire for experienced teachers. I know that there are a few left from when I was in school, but not to many. That would be my one big complaint is that the teachers are to young and fresh out of college.
