This school just received "Exemplary Status" from National Lutheran School Accreditation. Such an honor! I am thankful that my sons are growing spiritually and intellectually in this academically rigorous school. They are making lifelong friends from around the world & have had amazing opportunities to serve, travel, and experience teamwork in important & unusual ways. No doubt about it, these students WILL be ready for college - no problem.

This school lacks structure. Class size of 30+ students and lack of attention to detail and student well being. The focus is on growing the school not growing the student. It's Lutheran in name only.

I'm one of those "foreign kids." I spent a year at St. Paul, and I loved it. It was very different from my Norwegian school. The tests are easy compared to the Norwegian ones, but that's only because we work so hard prior to them! Lots of homework, and lots of fun. The dorm rules are only as strict as needed, and the teachers were both inspiring and challenging. I loved playing on the soccer team. (...it was the only sport I actually could handle as an European.) Saint Paul is multi-cultural. I improved my English, and even learned some interesting words in both Korean, Chinese and German. It's a wonderful school were everyone can mingle! The only thing I didn't quite like was the cafeteria food - but I understand that it's not quite unlike other American schools. They had a salad bar, and occasionally offered different types of foreign foods. (Such as Chinese food and Norwegian food.) I miss EVERYONE so much! Try a year or four at St. Paul. It was a wonderful experience, and I miss it so much.

Body,Soul, and Mind this is essential for a great education and St. Paul treats you like a Saint. The school is approx. 190 students approx 70 from foreign countries which gives the school a very international flavor in a small town of 2500 people but close to Kansas City.
