My children started 2009 here, after going to Sunrise in 2008. I love love love St Rose. I have one in PreK, and one in 4th. The teachers are so nice, really love the kids. The curriculum is challenging, and they say grace before meals, and learn about how to treat others. So happy I made the switch.

I have 3 children in grades 8, 4 & 2 all have been at St Rose since pre-school, it is a perfect fit for my kids. Class sizes are small and individual attention is a plus. The tuition has been lowered to make it more affordable, I am supprised more families don't send there kids to Saint Rose !

Too small, very rural, limited resources and funding. Little to no arts and music instruction. Good math and english instruction. Upper grades are together in same room due to limited teachers.

St Rose if a great school is you have a mainstream child, after working with the school for over 5 years to try and get my LD child help within the school I finally gave up and put her in public. This school does not have the funding to give a special needs child an appropriate education. If you are looking for a small school family atmosphere for your mainstream child, then this is the place to go !

My two boys, ages three and four, just started pre-school there within the past five months and all I can say is 'Thank GOD for St. Rose of Lima!' I have sent my children to two other pre-schools and neither of them compare to St. Rose. The teachers are warm and loving. They really do care about our children. The classrooms are inviting and full of creative play and offer plenty of different educational activities. It has been hard to financially afford to send two boys to a private school but it has been more than worth it. St. Rose has rose above our expectations and welcomed us with open arms. I am truely blessed that I found St. Rose and will be continuing to send my children there for years to come. Don't ever second guess your choice to send your children to St. Rose!

St. Rose of Lima School was worth every sacrifice it took to send my child there for 9 years. The low class sizes (for several years there were only 9 children in his class)(and he always had 1 teacher), the individual attention, the Christian values that are displayed by the teachers, administration and the older students. There is the atmosphere of family, love and caring that greets you at every entrance and continues down the halls and into the classrooms, where every morning they say the pledge of allegiance and every day they thank God for their meal. My son is now a Junior at the local Catholic High School. He is kind, thoughtful and loving to his family and friends. He enjoys reminiscing about his days at St. Rose and still holds on to many 'treasures' that remind him of those years.

St. Rose is a great sports school. All of the basketball, volleyball, and soccer A-Teams got first in their tournaments. Also, the academics are very high. My kid learned a lot at St. Rose.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
