I too am a former student of Delta R-V and I was appalled by the positive remarks made by other former students, I don't know when they attended, but maybe they got the website wrong. It couldn't have been Delta that they were talking about. Delta was notorious for extreme favoritism, if you were a basketball or baseball player. Only those two sports though because thats all the sports they had. I've heard that they've added cross country track, WOW, what an accomplishment, I'm impressed! The only extracurricular activities I was able to really participate in was football at the park after school. Education wise, yes, there were a few good teachers but for the most part if you didnt show up wanting to stay the course no one really pushed you in the direction to do so. Overall I was very disappointed with my educational experience at Delta.

I am not a parent but I did attend Delta until my Junior year. I loved my basketball and softball coaches, Coach White and Coach Brown they were great. They really encouraged you to do your best just like some of the staff did but the others did pick favorites. Overall my view of Delta school is no different then any other school, you have your teachers that are great and you have others you wonder why they are really there.

Educational quality is stressed from Kindergarten through graduation at Delta R-V.I attended Delta Schools, my children attended Delta Schools and they are on their way to becoming successful contributors to society. I chose to live in this community because of the close-knit family atmosphere and I know that the faculty of this school truly has the welfare of each student in mind. The principals are trustworthy, caring individuals who treat the children like their own. I wouldn't live anywhere else!!!

While Im not a parent, I graduated form Delta in 2001. This school has one of the best teaching staffs in Missouri. If you are thinking about this school, trust me, its worth it. I am now in the police academy and if it wasnt for Mr. Weber and Coach crowden, I might have never done anything with my life. So trust me, its one of the best schools.

I have found that the faculty and staff at Delta are very caring and helpful. They each take the student's welfare to be the most important part of the educational process. The buildings are clean and bright. While there isn't a large variety of sports or clubs that students may participate in, all have an opportunity to join and become leaders if they so choose. My child not only did well in the time she attended school there, but she went on to a major university where she graduated with honors.
