I have heard of the programs the teachers are involved in and know first hand, from volunteering how they really are concerned for their students. They have a librarian that is always looking for ways to inspire her students to read and enjoy it.

I have nothing but positive comments to include about [the principle] and the school. She has always been helpful, caring, and compassionate about the school and the children that attend. I have never seen her disrespect, speak out of turn or forget about the reason she and every teacher show up to work; the students. Her leadership is wonderful and every parent I've asked, agrees. As parents we must trust the judgement of principals, administrators, school boards and other officals who have been chosen to do the job we cannot. The school district has grown and become something I'm proud to be apart of & send my children to.

I am very proud of this school. Every school has problems, but the only complaint I have about this school is the principal. She tries to avoid all problems. When a parent calls she is always unavailable. She has no respect for the parents or the kids,it's like she thinks the problem will just disapear. The teachers are very good. My children have enjoyed all their teachers and I have no complaint about the teachers. All the staff of Desloge try very hard to make learning fun.

This school is a pretty good school overall. The school district has let many great teachers leave the district over stupid things. The principle at the elementary (Desloge) is fairly good. One time I had a problem with one of the teachers, so my mother went to talk to her. She sat there never once looked at her, worked on something else, & when my mom was done she said O.K. bye & she did not handle the situation very well.

In the beging of the year I had expressed concerns about a teacher and her behavior. The Principal seemed very Hostil toward my concerns. She then turned around and went to that teacher and told her what I had concerns about. I had asked her not to do that. She basically told me that there was nothing to talk about and that I nothing to base my asumptions on. The teacher then bagered my child about what I had done and seemed to take away his play time when it was brought up. The have routinly put the Child in strange situations. We will get through the year I hope and then we will pay for the child to go to another school.
