This school has some very good teachers, but also has several extremely bad teachers. Our child has had a problem with bullying for the past 2 years. They 'have a policy against it' according to the principal, but actions work, policies don't. Their test scores are well below the state average in Communication Arts. In fact, we had our child indepependently tested, and in some areas he tested 6 years below his current grade level, and in other areas he tested 3 years above.

NCMS has a large population of students. They seem to get along better than most schools. I believe that the sports teams should be picked more fairly. Some students try their best and with practice would be a great assist to the school teams. The Raider Reward trips are an added bonus for the students. Although I think it should be rated on merit , not hours missed. An honor roll student who misses 21 hours is unable to be involved . Overall I believe that our school is doing well for itself. A few things here and there could be improved but that's everywhere in business. Might I add~ teachers should remember what it's like to be a kid- let them enjoy school. Not stress them out. Thank you, one very involved parent of three North County Students.
