I feel that this school is laking in choices of classes. My child was crushed when she was 'given' her new schedule and not allowed to pick anything new. I think this is a shame. She is learning well, as the teachers do a great job but her interest level is difficult for her to maintain because of the lack of choices and extra activities.

The lack of diversified classes/extra-curricular activities is sad. I know the teachers work hard but they cannot reach kids in a way that the other 'stuff' that gets kids excited about being at school can. If you can only have the bare minimum of opportunities you are leaving out a large proportion of the kids. Rich kids, smart kids and athletic kids are the ones that are allowed to excel and the rest have to blunder around and try to find how they can fit in.

Schools are only as good as the parents who help to back it . I feel the teachers are trying very hard to make it a good school . I was impressed with the way they presented their curriculum at the pre school open house. they did a very nice job in welcoming the 7 th graders.
