I myself attended school here and now my son also will. He is in first grade and is well above average for his age. At Twin Rivers his teacher seems very dedicated to keeping him on a level where he is being educated and not 'held back' because he learns more quickly than some of his class mates. This school has helped me a great deal in challenging my son. He is assigned home work assignments daily, excluding Fridays, and they offer after school activites as well. This district seems dedicated in having the parents involved in as much as possible.I feel it is a great school and my child is comfortable and will receive a great education. Thank you for reading this review

I have three children who have attended Fisk, from kindergarten up through 8th. This is a great school. Mr children received an exceptional education there. There is a small school one on one environment. My kids have loved their teachers, and I feel the teachers cared about my kids. My kids were NEVER treated with disrepect, but they were always repectful to the teachers. The teachers there care about the students and their safety in the classroom. They do not allow other students who do not want to be there to take away from those who want to learn. As a whole, I feel this is a positive learning environment for my children and all other children in the school district. The teachers go out of their way to offer activities outside of the classroom for the kids, and usually do not get paid for their time.

Teachers are not there for the kids. They're for the money. They use corpral punishment , even after being told not to paddle your child. Teachers are allowed to speak to your child any way they feel. When you complain about it, they find something to file against you as a parent. New principal is a good man and trying but he won't win. The teachers do as they please. A child can get a swat or suspended from school from talking to others with disrespect but teachers disrespect the children all the time. Keep your children out of this school.
