St Ferdinand has an excellent curriculum wherein the faculty and staff strive to incorporate technology and innovation with sound faith based instruction. The administraation, led by Miss Jeanne Gearon, is involved and supportive offering mentoring to new educators and loving guidance to each student. Our son has blossomed in this engaging environment.

St. Ferdinand is a very good school. I have three kids attending and overall I am pleased. Yhe only 2 things that might bother are that my oldest son has had a new teacher the past couple years because a lot of the teachers quit. Mrs. McIntyre is the best kindergarten teacher out there!! The principal is very strict. She has the school in order but at times I think she comes across very intimidating for the younger kids. If you live in the Hazelwood School District and you want quality education it's so worth it to sacrifice a little and send your kids here.

My son has attended St. Ferdinand for 7 years. If you want your child to receive a great Catholic education, this is the school for you. Classes are small. Most teachers are wonderful. Offer elective classes in 5+ grade. Principal is tough but fair.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
