The teachers work hard and care for the students. Next year (2009-2010) it will drop the 5th grade. That will be good. For a school this size, it is a great place for children to learn and grow. If the school emphasized the arts as much as they do sports, it would be near perfect. The band and vocal teachers are great, they just need more support.
I have been in quite a few schools throughout MO. Hamilton is on the smaller side and so lacking a little in the technology/resource areas. However, the community atmosphere is great. All of the staff genuinely care about the students and the work hard to provide a healthy learning environment.
