My daughter graduated from Christian Outreach School in 1996. She furthered her studies at Missouri Baptist University, SEMO, and Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. Presently she is working on her doctorate at St. Louis University. The staff at COS encouraged her to reach her full potential both spiritually and academically. The Christ-centered skills she gained at COS were a springboard for a lifestyle pattern of making good choices. The value of strong academic skills taught by caring, praying, competent Christian instructors is priceless. This year my granddaughter started attending COS preschool. I was delighted to find the nurturing Christ-centered atmosphere still abounding just as it has in the past. Richard Grayson, Sr. Pastor, Emmanuel Baptist Church Desoto, MO

My children had been in a public school setting for a few of their elementary years. Once we made the switch to educating them through a Christian School, we were excited. The classes are smaller and more individualized attention is given to each student. Christian Outreach School is like an extension of the family. They seek to work alongside the parents in the education of each child. The staff truly cares for each family and strives to instill Godly principles in every area of the curriculum. As a parent, I have never regretted leaving the public school system for the remainder of my children's education. -Laura Cooper

Our family has experienced three educational venues: public school, home education, and private education. My children were enthusiastic about completing their educations at COS. The academic program is excellent, and the sports program is run like those of the big schools, even though the team sizes are sometimes small. The teachers at COS are dedicated and care about each student, though paid little. My three students were well prepared for their college careers--one has now graduated in the area of physical therapy and is looking at grad school. What I like most about COS is that they are always endeavoring to improve their programs, even with the low funding their budget affords. I think they must charge the least for tuition of any private traditional-classroom school in Jefferson County. The kids learn respect, hard work, and, most important of all, how to love the Lord with their hearts, minds, and strength.
