This school is great. The teachers are caring and nurturing. I especially find favor with the Parents As Teachers program and with Debi Lale. Her dedication and passion has helped me to become a better parent and helped me to truly enjoy parenting. The Early Childhood Center is outstanding.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this school. Mrs Davis & Mr Gray are amazing. They treat each child as their own and know each by name. They show great respect to the kids and most importantly, they have fun with them! I've never seen a principal dress in such crazy costumes! :)) The admin and teachers are friendly and always make you feel welcome. Parent involvement is highly encouraged, and seen, in this school. My kids have attended this school the past four years and both are straight A kids. The teachers my girls have had are top notch. Both girls have needed more to challenge them, so their teachers (not just one, but every grade we've had!) have developed special programs to further challenge them. Props to Mrs Wirth/Mast/Leech/Wright & Egesdal! Thank you Hollister Elementary for taking such great care of our kids.

My child has attended this school for the past 4 years, I have had nothing but good things come out of this school. The faculty has been nothing but top notch and very caring about their students. Never have I been involved with a school whose principal knows all students by name.

Please don't let some people paint a bad light on Hollister Schools. This school has some of the best teachers in the area. Not ones that just come to a job everyday but ones that take time out of their personl time to see their students in plays or sports after school. They've had to work out a few administration changes but for the last two years you can just feel the differance. You can count on going to a safe, clean, up to date school, filled with teachers willing to go the extra mile to teach our children. If you do check out the MAP scores you will find they went up a great deal this last year and they work all year to keep this trend going. My kids have gone here from pre-school age and both are straigh A kids. That's because Hollister cares about our kids.

Hollister Schools lack leadership skills, no concern for any child they have in their school, they would rather push children on to another grade then to actually teach the children. what they should know then blame it on the parents. the principle doesn't even know what is going on in his own building. and as far as my opinion goes Hollister Elementary needs a whole new faculity. Teachers are there to teach not ridicule, taunt,or just plainly give up on a child. Hollister has a few great teachers,But the school as a whole i would give a D-.

My child is in the 6th grade. The second quarter found him failing math. I also found 97% of his classmates were also failing. I have received little if any guidance on the steps to improve this situation. Now in the third quarter I find other children still in a quandry over math. Is it the teaching techniques or the children? I've been told it is the kids, this came from the administration. Now, looking at map scores of area schools, I'm more concerned than ever this school will fail my child. The children have told me this school is out of control. Kids saying this is unreal.

I have two children in the Hollister Elementary School, and I am very pleased with the quality of education they are receiving! My first grader loves school and is reading fluently, thanks to her patient and dedicated teacher! My fourth grader enjoys learning and changing classes to prepare her for the middle school experience. The teachers and staff are truly a caring bunch, and I am happy my children are in their educational hands!

Hollister Elementary is a wonderful and nurturing environment, and I have never been more impressed with a school staff! Within a week of my son starting Kindergarten, it seemed like every staff member knew him by name - the dedication and quality of each teacher and person radiates out of their doors. The level of curriculum surpasses what I would ever expect at this early age, and I feel confident that these kids now have a terrific start in their educational careers. Thank you all for such a positive, safe and quality environment for our precious children!
