I love this school! Its my first year and the district, and yet it seems like I've been in the district my whole life. The school is very nice. I've made so many new friends. The teachers are all so great

Northwest Valley is ok I guess, I wish there were more Cricular activitys. And the teachers are great I have to admit.

Northwest Valley has some very great teachers. My daughter loves the extra cricular activities. She is a notwest lions cheerleader for the 8th grade team. She loves her school very much. She loves all the people that go to it. We are very greatfull for this opportunity to have this wonderful school.

My daughter is now in 8th grade and we haven't had any problems. She has had great teachers and has learned a lot from them. I was skeptical about the school, but Dr. Carl spent 1 1/2 hours talking to me before the school year started. (My daughter was going into 7th.) I think it has to do with the child's willness to learn and the parent's involvement. I love this school. There are snobs and hard to deal with teens at every school. There are also hard to deal with teachers at every school. I haven't worried about the safety of my child once.

Northwest Valley is a great school. I have been in the district for my whole life and every year this school improves so much. I think that if you are considering Northwest you will be very pleased. Our school teaches us about everything we need to know. Also, we have unity. Which in books, is very important. The whole Northwest school district is great. I cannot stress that enough. Also, reading most of the other reviews you get what the parents think. Reading mine: it comes from inside the school.

MAP scores are very over rated in this school district. This school knows how to teach a child to pass a MAP test, but truly lacks the knowledge of teaching a child the actual skills needed for college and life. My child spends more class room hours in this school preparing for the MAP test than she does learning math or english. The MAP tests are taught in this school.

I was not persauded to think that this school was up to par. Yes some of its teacher are outstanding but some are not. I do believe that ridding of those teachers would improve the districts scores and allow the students to recieve the education they diserve. The extra curricular activities were great as well as the availability in the music department. Parent involment on the other hand could use a great deal of improvement!

I wish there were more extracurricular activities that were sponsored by the school. It's difficult to keep children busy, especially at this age. The best deterant to 'trouble' is leadership and a sense of belonging to a group. Most activities that are recommended by the school are not only costly but are not associated directly with the school. I hope the future holds something different for our kids.
