I went to this school to check it out, very good looking secretary in high school office, as well as a great business teacher, and I hear that there is a great cross country/track program. Brand new elementary wing, and i could tell this school is on the rise overall. Strong school leadership.

This school like many others is in a slum but not like many of the other schools it is growing every year. Their programs and buildings are being upgraded and all in all this school will keep on moving forward when other schools keep looking back.

Low test scores in this school reflect the failing of the public school system (i.e. the teachers are forced to concentrate on standardized testing instead of real teaching) and a lack of emphasis placed on the importance of education within families. Most of the teachers are top rate and eager to help a focused student.

The middle school is almost brand new, and the other school buildings are in good shape. There are some great teachers there as well. Kids here don't score low because of the school, but because education is not a priority in their home. My kids and other I know test out just fine.

Although the school has been stated in another review to be behind in academics, its perhaps in this instance due to the students and not the school. It is a farm community without a big emphasis in the home on schooling. A student with the motivation to work hard will recieve more special attention and all efforts are made to offer them career oppurtunities. The level of care given to focused students is great at humansville school.

This school is unbelievably behind on academics. If you will compare it to schools around the area you will find that it is low in test scores. This school needs to get their priorities straight.
