The Schoolhouse provides a small, close-knit environment for boys and girls. The children of all ages can interact together, yet have separate class time with their peers. It is a very small school and does not offer extracurricular activities, but they do offer hands-on learning opportunities like cooking at Thanksgiving and quilting for the upper grades. If you are looking for a more gentle environment for your child, The Schoolhouse is more than worth a look.
