My oldest son just graduated from Lutheran High School and received a full tuition scholarship to a private college out of state. He was able to become involved in sports, music, theater, and still maintain a high GPA and an excellent ACT score. More than anything, the teachers and administration helped him to grow in his faith. I'm so thankful that this smaller school allowed him to be involved in so many activities so that he was always busy and made wonderful Christian friends along the way. I would HIGHLY recommend this school!

Our child attended a Lee's Summit school last year and LSR-7 schools are nationally recognized public schools. That being said...the college preparation that our child is receiving at LHSKC is second to none. The school ranks among the very best in the city with regard to ACT scores. We are happy we chose LHSKC...we will have two attending next year.

It is a wonderful school. It does not only show the importance of education, but of Jesus Christ as well. And no, they do not change their staff every 90 days, and they don't hire teachers straight out of college unless they are truly qualified for the job.

Excellent school. Truly nurtures its students and prepares them for college/university. The best value in education in KC Region. ACT scores among top 3 schools every year.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
