Center Alternative school is to be commended for their comprehensive and openminded approach toward educating youth who present with challenges. Since my God-Son's placement at Center, January 2011, I've seen outstanding results both academically and personally for him. I'm truly impressed with the school's approach to discipline that is balanced with a strong sense of motivating students to perform at established standards while yet keeping the students in the classroom more than out of the building on a suspension or similar consequence. Great job Center Alternative

Center Alternative School is a school where kids who have struggled in the typcial school setting get the extra help and support they need. We have seen students who once thought it would be impossible to graduate 'catch up' to their peers and walk across the stage on Graduation Day. The environment that the principal, Sharon Nibblelink, provide is extremely supportive and encouraging. The student population is much smaller than the average school which means a much smaller student to teacher ratio. It's an amazing place when your child needs a different setting to complete their high school diploma.
