Gladstone Elementary School 2

This a great school for neurotypical children. It's a terrible school for kids with ADD and ADHD. There's not a ton of support for parents with kids with these disorders, and I felt totally lost and helpless the entire second half the last school year. No one told me until after it was over that we could have done a psychological evaluation, or behavioral intervention plan, or that the 504 plan didn't address the right things... How am I expected to know to ask for these things? This school is lacking in the facilities and the personnel it needs to help kids with neurological and learning disorders. The principal herself admitted this to me. Until the school district gets around to improving support for kids with learning disorders and neurological disabilities, send your kid to a charter school. This is not the place, unless your kid is already good at sitting down and being quiet.
