I have been very happy with Kirksville Primary School for all three of my children, who each have unique needs. I have one who went through the Special Ed program and two kids who are high functioning enough to be tested for the gifted program. I have found the principal Mrs. Reger to be exceptionally approachable and the teachers that my kids have had have been caring and competent. I had to fight for para support with my oldest with the prior administration, but found the current administration open and supportive of inclusion. All three have been challenged by their teachers and have also known that they are loved. The PBS program has been good for teaching appropriate behavior in addition to addressing bullying before it occurs. I am happy that my kids went to KPS.

I have been impressed with the programs offered by the school, especially the summer school program. All of the school's academic and extracurricular programs are very well organized and helpful to the enhancement of their students. Teachers are truly invested in their students, and in my experience go above and beyond to help their pupils. My 3 children have all had positive experiences there, and share the school pride spirit that one experiences in a small town atmosphere.

The the majority of parents are not involved. The classes are overcrowded and play ground is below par.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
