Our school is a wonderful, caring, nurturing place for both of our children. The teachers take the time to individualize each child's learning as best as they can.

Sending our daughter to FLS is the best decision we have made! She is receiving an above par education as well as spiritual development. Each of these components is very important to our family. We are blessed to have a school such as this in our area.

Faith Lutheran School is fantastic. From preschool all the way through middle school, the academics, teachers, Christian environment, and social dynamics are excellent.

This school works with each child on their own level and is sharing Gods word with the children. My child loves school and is thriving. She is very smart and has been able to even skip a grade as the school worked with her at level and not that of her fellow classmates allowing her to continue at her own pace. The staff at FLS are loving, caring, educated and love the Lord. There isn't anytihng more I could ask for. I can't wait for my other child to attend and we pray the school will contuinue to grow so that they can spend many years in this school.

We love FLS and feel so blessed that we are able to send our child here. Each and every teacher/staff at this school loves and cares for every child as their own. We pray that this school continues to grow so we may send our child here for many more years.

I am so happy to have the opportunity to send my kids to Faith Lutheran School. The education my son has received has been second to none, and he is so excited to enjoy the activities offered. I am happy to have him in a Christian environment, with respectable influences on a daily basis.

This school has been such a blessing! Our children have thrived under the direction and leadership of teachers who take time out for each child to challenge them and guide them with love. Our children have been able to work at the level they are at without having to be stuck with a level for the entire class. They have always looked forward to going to school.

We haven't been with Faith Lutheran School for too long, but just in the time we have it's been a fabulous place for our child. You can really sense that the faculty works very hard to bring out the best in your child. It was a very wise choice for us.

This is our daughter's first year at Faith Lutheran School in Kirksville. Our family is absolutely impressed with the quality of education and commitment to positive development that we have found here. The faculty and staff are amazing in their ability to instruct, supervise and encourage creativity. Everyone (including teachers, staff, administration and afterschool aides) demonstrates daily a genuine care for these kids. Parents are treated as partners in the educational process, and they are always welcome in the classroom and in school activities. Fundraisers, a necessary part of the process, are fun, unique and are not pressed uncomfortably upon the parents. I believe FLS exercises a strict practice of financial responsility. I always thought that leaving my child with a pre-school would be agonizingly difficult. But, to the contrary, it has been a rewarding and exciting adventure for parents and child alike.

We have been very happy with FLS. We are so glad we sent our daughter there and plan to send our son in a couple of years. We love the teachers and their love for the children. Our daughter has really grown this year both socially and educationally. We also appreciate the Christian aspect of the school and all that they teach about God and the Bible.

My son has blossomed this year with the help of the Faith Lutheran staff. Where he did not have confidence he now shines and where his special qualities are they let him express himself and do not hold him back. They are the blessing we were looking for.

I've had two kids go through the preschool and it is wonderful. Ms. Zan and Ms. Hoshaw show a lot of care and individual attention. The kids get a good faith based education and a lot of time to play too.

Wonderful school and staff. If you have young children, Pre-K through 5th, I highly recommend. Small class sizes, more individual attention.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
