Come see what the future of education looks like. I urge you to observe one of our classrooms and see how young children choose their lessons, concentrate for hours at a time and work collaboratively in a carefully prepared environment. This school is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale, the organization begun by Dr. Maria Montessori herself. As the name "Montessori" cannot be trademarked, it is important that parents due their homework to make sure that the Montessori school they choose adheres to authentic Montessori principles.

If you are reading this review, you are considering Villa di Maria Montessori school for your child. The first thing you should know is that "montessori" cannot be trademarked..so anyone can technically call themselves a montessori school. Villa di Maria is an AMI accredited school. AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) was began by Maria Montessori herself to ensure that her method and standards are adhered to. I have three daughters at the school. It is an absolute joy to see them "choosing" to read at home instead of turning on the tv. They are all creative, enthusiastic, caring and independent and there is no doubt in my mind that the school, the teachers and the community of Villa di Maria played a huge role in their development. Check out the school, ask lots of questions and take the plunge into authentic Montessori education. You can thank me later!

Villa is an incredible school. It is amazing to walk in the classroom and see young kids working so happily and learning so much. Not all Montessori schools truly adhere to the philosophy of Maria Montessori, but Villa does. The results have been wonderful. We couldn't be happier

The true test of a great school is how excited the children are to be here and that the staff loves the school.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
