New Salem Baptist Academy is a very good school, with sweet teachers and children who want to learn. The classes are not as big as public school's are, therefore the teacher has more time to work with each individual student. The sports teams are very good. New Salem is currently the undefeated state champions of 2006 for volleyball. They are (both girls and boys teams) the runner-up at basketball state championships for 2006/ 2007. They also have an optimist soccer team. Parents are involved with the school, close to as much as the students, faculty, and staff. With Bible study or lessons daily, Scripture memorization, and weekly chapel services, I highly recommend New Salem.

Quite a good school, in depth Bible classes especially. All of the students improve in character. I would know, I am one of those greatly improved persons. It is definetely my favorite school. Due to unfairness in government taxes, our school is having to increase fundraising, and tuition. The teachers are the hardest working teachers I've also known, and don't get paid much for the great work they do. Great school at the moment, but help is greatly wanted. Anyway anyone can help to support this school would be wonderful.

My son has attened New Salem for a year. His teacher is caring and giving. They encourage family and parent involment at the school. His teacher is always there if we need to talk with her. Being able to be a part of his school experience means at lot to us.
