I had one graduate from Maysville High and I was very disappointed in the education that she received. The dropout rate is high, staff caters to the few, and those who struggle with their grades are pushed aside. Maybe if the school staffs underlying philosophy was no child left behind meant helping all the students to find the positives for their struggles and support their kids maybe this school would be successful.
they have the kids telling EVERYONE in their familes the school needs more money more money, if you look at the eduction level and pay raises this district gets it makes you sick. FOCUS ON EDUCATION NOT YOUR POCKETS!!
Well I have a freshman and a senior, they both have gone to Maysville there whole life. All the teachers have been really nice to them. All the priniples they have had have been a good help to our school. Even though some years we thought that they would close our school down from all the rumors and the school not getting alot of money from the state. But the school have good sports and a nice little school. The teachers push the children to do better in every class. I have really liked this school district.
