Unfortunately this school only helps children with lower IQ's and over looks behavior problems as long as the child is not hurting anyone physically or failing. Teacher quality is better in the upper elementary grades but not so hot in the younger grades.
I also have a special needs child that has been going to this school for 2 years. They have been awesome to me and have helped in more ways than one to get my son on track. They even allowed my son's therapist to watch him in the classroom. My other son has been having problems with math. They caught it before I did and got him into a special program this year. He has since improved drastically. I recommend this school to anyone. My hat is off to the Newburg Elementary
I have a special needs child in this school district and am very unhappy with what is taking place in this school. This is not a good school for a child who might fall through the cracks because the cracks are more like gaping holes.
