Pheasant Point Elementary School

My daughter started kindergarten this year at Pheasant Point and she couldn't be happier. We love her classroom teacher. She is outstanding and a terrific teacher. My daughter loves computer and library class the best. I admire the way the P.E. teacher make them play different and interesting games to build-up their physical strength. The entire staff, including the principal and assistant principal, is wonderful. They are very caring, concerned and try to cultivate good manners in all the students. The cultural diversity in the school is admirable. Also, the parents always feel welcomed in school, no matter what the occasion. My daughter feels its the best school in the whole world. I think this statement itself explains everything.

I have two children that attend Pheasant Point Elementary and I could never find anything but great things to say about this school. The entire staff at this school truly want the students to excel academically, socially, emotionally and become well rounded students. The staff and teachers are only there because they want to be there to enrich the lives of the students. It is very obvious they love the children at the school and want them to suceed as much as the parents do. My kids love Pheasant Point and so do I!!

I currently have one child attending Pheasant Point Elementary and we are very pleased. My daughter's 1st grade teacher was absolutely wonderful and worked with us to keep her challenged throughout the year. My daughter is looking forward to starting 2nd grade in the fall...so are we!

This school is wonderful! I have a 2nd & 4th grader that have attended there since kindergarten. The teachers are awesome & really care about the kids. The staff is caring & they go out of their way to help you with anything. Parents are encouraged to be an active part of their childs education and I love that. My son is in the JET program (gifted) and that has been a wonderful exeperience for him. I wouldn't change my childrens school for the world.

I have a 3rd grader and a kindergartener that attend Pheasant Point, and this is their 1st year in this school. My 3rd grader is excelling way more here than in her previous school, and says that this school is the most fun. My kindergartener was very sheepish about attending school, but, after his first day, he came home very excited, and hasn't stopped talking about school since. I am very pleased with how my children are responding to Pheasant Point!

I have a son who is starting first grade this year. He is add/ha and all of his teachers he had in kindergarden were wonderful. They acknowledged his set back and worked closely with his father and i and also him. I think one improvement would be having all day kindergarden. Other then that the school is great. This coming from someone who attended private school and wanted it for my child but my husband convienced me it would be ok. It was a good year, he learned alot!

We love this school. We have one child there now and one that has just moved on to middle school. The building is 5 years old and they take good care of the property. Professional teachers/administrators willing to meet and work with you to help your child succeed. The curriculum is fairly demanding, but not overwhelming. I feel my oldest was well prepared for middle school and is doing well there. They have a program called Rainbow of Respect that encourages tolerance, respect and overall good social values without religious overtones. They have a no tolerance attitude on bullying and seem to have a system in place that really doesn't give kids the chance to pick on each other. The older students have a peer group to help one another with social problems. The nurse and office staff take time to know the children and are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

We love this school! I have two children that go here and one about to start. The teachers are great. Each and every one of them are so caring. Just walk in the front door and you will feel that at home warm feeling and I bet no matter who you walk by a student, a teacher, a nurse, a janitor, the principle, or another parent (witch you will see a lot up there )this school is very parent friendly, you will always see a smile.. And I must say thank you to the ladies up front(doris and donna) they make my family feel special they know it all and they know every child I love knowing my child is safe and not just another face in the crowd but they know who they are and they know there name. Just look at the test scores, We are the best! We have the best teachers..Thanks,Carrie

This school is awesome. Both of my daughters go here and they love it! They went to another grade school before this one and it was nothing compared to here. It starts from the time you walk in the door. The ladies working up front in the office are so helpful and knowlegable about everything and every kid. It makes me feel great to know when I call and give my name they know my childrens' names without me having to tell them. The principal is always around. Checking out the classrooms and getting involved. The extra curricular activities are endless. With so many to choose from your child is sure to find one they are interested in. I would highly recomend this school to anyone.
