I've had four children of my own attended this school, and I can not say enough about the teachers and staff. They are simply put wonderful in all aspects. They go they extra mile, my first child was right on track and did not need any additional services, however my second child was behind in reading so she attended Title I Reading which helped tremendously. Then along came the twins, who have many learning challenges; in the Oak Grove School District I feel confident that they will still receive the education that they need to be successful in life. The teachers have honored any and all of my wishes when it has come to my children, and I know when I call on them for help that they will be there. They encourage parent involvement and let the parents know when their child needs extra help. I will always recommend them.

Our child's first year of school was wonderful but as leadership changed so did the school's ability to care for the children as individuals. If your child is even somewhat/slightly above or below the average then I would highly discourage you from enrolling your child/children in this school. Disappointing truly cannot even begin to describe the way we now feel about our child's education.

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have both of our children in the Primary building. This school has the 'entire package' and I am so glad that my children will have this for their educational foundation. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful and caring.

I graduated for Oak Grove in 1998. I was a student in the disrict since my kindergarten year. My dream was to return to Oak Grove as a teacher, which says a lot about the district. I was a teacher at Oak Grove Primary for two years! I was devasted to have to leave, but my husband was stationed in Japan! This school is amazing! The staff is wonderful! The teachers are always willing to put the best interest of the students first! I hope to return to OG to teach when I move back to the area! I would want nothing more than to have my children attend this school! Keep up the good work!

My son has been at OG Primary for 2 years now, and we are both happy with his experience. So far he has had wonderful teachers, and the principal has been very friendly and helpful. Everything from the School Carnival to daily procedures seems to be well organized and structured. We are looking forward to another great year here!

I had 7 of my children in O.G. Primary and Maple Elementary from Sept 02 to May 04. Being a family that is relocated with our company, we've seen a few schools. I have yet to find a district with the passion for families like this one. They don't just love, encourage and teach your children, they embrace your entire family. They are always right on top of every childs' performance and needs. They don't invade your family in anyway that makes you uncomfortable, but they leave themselves open to you. The nursing staff is the best I've ever seen in a school district. I have 5 boys with a bleeding disorder, they didn't try to avoid them at all. They learned everything they could about it. That was a first for our family. Thier main concern is your child, not trying to 'show off'. God Bless you all. Boones

The friendliness of the staff left a lot to be desired; as a matter of fact, they were borderline-rude. My child's teacher seemed to mean well, but had troubles controlling her class by herself. Thank goodness for the room-parent program. I would not recommend this school as excellent to anyone, but I will not say it is terrible as I am sure there are a lot worse schools out there.

As a grandmother of 3 Oak Grove students... all have attended OG Primary now one is in High School, one in Middle, and one in Elementary. They seemed to have acquired a very good foundation to continue their education.

Not sure that I would want to send any other children that I have to this school. The teachers seem stressed, the principal is inaccessible. The friendliness and willingness to provide a stimulating educational experience for my child is forced.
