I love this school! I've been going here my whole time in the education program (9 1/2 years), and it has been great! There are GREAT teachers, properly equipped facilities, amazing extra- curricular programs, and very nice people. I've enjoyed my years here, and I would recommend sending your child to this school.
I graduated from this school. Please don't send you child here. There are racist teachers and some teachers have favorites. Also depending on your race it won't matter how well your child may perform if there's a white kid that had been there longer rest assured they are going to get the praise. the school lunches are so small you might as well pack your child a lunch anyway. I remember getting some lunches and still be hungry and they don't allow seconds. They are behind in technology the best your child will get is typing skills and that's about it. Don't send your child here unless you want to work twice as hard to get them a good education. You can get better at a public school.
Immanuel is a great school with caring teachers and a positive, Christian atmosphere. My child has attended for 9 years now, beginning in preschool and I continue to be impressed with Immanuel. Students are given several opportunities to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways and can also be involved in several extracurricular activities!
Immanuel is a great Christian school with caring teachers and small class sizes! My children have been cared for better at Immanuel than any other school they have attended. They are testing significantly above grade level and love their school.
Ok here is the real deal! This school lack principal leadership. Students do not get involved in their own learning, there is rote learning, teachers do not get updated training, lack of resources, teachers sit behind the desk and teach and they teach one way, lots of behavior problems, favortism from teachers for those of the faith who attend the lutheran church, discrimination, the list goes on and on. Send your child to a public school and you will get better teaching!
